Absence Request Form
In September 2013, amendments to the Pupil Registration Regulations came into force and these amendments have removed the statutory threshold of 10 school days and also make it clear that Governing Bodies/Principals may not grant an leave of absence during term time unless there are exceptional circumstances.
The Keys Federation Governing Body have discussed this in detail and made the decision that leave of absence for holidays during term time will not be granted in future except for compassionate reasons.
